I'm writing to ask you to support practical reform that rebalances how we treat income from work compared to income from assets.

I'm not sure whether proposed changes would personally advantage me or come at some cost. But I do believe reform is necessary.

A system where income earned from the hours people put in at work can be taxed more heavily than income earned from assets doesn't reflect the principle that effort should be rewarded.

We don't need to tear down the system. We need to rebalance it — in a way that is sustainable, credible and budget neutral.

Please support reform that strengthens fairness while maintaining aspiration and fiscal responsibility.
